How we told everyone

Anthony told everyone he came in contact with so I had to threaten him not to tell our families because I wanted to tell them in person.
Originally I ordered these really cute blue with pink sprinkled fortune cookies but they never came. I was pretty bummed about that because I had personalized each one for our families and for our friends that we were going to tell in person.
We went to Anthony's mom's to have dinner 6 days after finding out and he just blurted it out so I don't really have pictures of that. They were really excited though.

My mom's bday fell on the same weekend as grandparent's day. We went to lunch after church and this was my mom's card from the baby.

She was very shocked.

Since Memaw can't see very much she pretended to see and then put it in her purse. LOL

Bella had kinda found out because of a picture she stumbled upon in my phone, but she pretended to be surprised when we confirmed it to her. She's very excited. 

This is how we told Facebook. I can't really take credit for these ideas because I found them on either google or Pintrest but they were fun. Bella helped me with the the pumpkins. 

Week 9

How far along?  9 weeks I’ll start posting pictures next week.

How are you measuring? I’m guessing 9 weeks. We go back to the dr. the 17^th of this month.  

Size of baby? The size of a green olive

Heartbeat? It was really fast last time we went to the dr.

Total weight gain/loss? Loss of 5 lb however everything feels tighter.

Maternity clothes? A coworker gave me a band. Don’t really need it except for dress pants that have multiple buttons like today. It just feels more comfortable with the band.

Stretch marks? nope

Sleep? Pretty good minus my frequent trips to the bathroom and crazy dreams!

Best moment this week? I was finally able to tell all the people I wanted to tell personally. I’ll post to Facebook this weekend after I take my announcement pictures.

Movement? None yet

Food cravings? No cravings. There’s just things I don’t want to eat or have anywhere near me. Usually that happens at night.
Food cravings? At night it’s the worst and first thing in the morning. I don’t throw up but I come very close to it. I can’t eat much for dinner which is why I guess I’m losing weight.

Gender predictions? BOY (only because that’s what I want!)

What I miss: being able to eat without wanting to gag. And I would really like a sandwich. I didn’t eat many of those before but now that I can’t eat them I kinda want one.

What I'm looking forward to: taking announcements pictures and telling Facebook.

Big News

No one really reads this yet so I figured I'll post but not tell anyone.

Total weight gain/loss? Loss of 4 lb

Maternity clothes? Not yet!! I’ll hold out at long as possible

Sleep? Pretty good minus my frequent trips to the bathroom

Food cravings? Not really, except sweet stuff but I always had that

What I'm looking forward to: seeing a picture next week

Heartbeat? We heard it last week at the doctor. It was surprising and fast!

Total weight gain/loss? Still -4 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Not yet but at the end of the day I immediately get out of my clothes or unbutton my pants!

Stretch marks? no

Sleep? I sleep pretty good but I sometimes have really weird, creepy or bad dreams.

Best moment this week? Last week we went to the dr and heard the heartbeat.

Movement? Too early

Food cravings? Not really but some things make me feel sick now, especially at night.

Gender predictions? Not sure. I go back and forth

What I miss: nothing really. There’s nothing really standing out

What I'm looking forward to: finishing telling our friends.

How are you feeling? I was doing good, but now at night I feel really nauseous. I threw up being car sick for the first time ever last weekend. Not fun!

Tie Dye cupcakes

Bella and I made tie dye cupcakes tonight. They were super easy and cheap fun!

You use regular cake mix and separate into separate bowls and add dye.

You use a spoon to spoon in each color and then swirl with a tooth pick.

Bella's First Lemonade Stand

Bella has been begging me for months to open a lemonade stand. I avoided it as long as possible but she's out there right now selling lemonade. 

1st Summer Project Complete

Here's my first completed summer project. I have several others but with summer school and our vacation I haven't had time. Tackling the backyard crab grass, taking down the last wall paper in the house and painting Bella's furniture are still going to happen at some point!

On Friday the 6th we went hiking on the Rattle Snake Trial in El Dorado Park. Everyone started out happy...
