4 month stats

I'm a few days late, but better late than never!

4 month Stats

Weight: 13 lbs 12 oz
2 pounds gained!!

Length: I'll post tomorrow. I'm already in bed and I don't want to get up!

Percentiles: 95% in height and 23% in weight. Dr. said she’s every girl’s dream! Haha.  

Eating: Eating every 4 hours and now we’re starting rice cereal.  

Bedtime: Now that she’s in day care she usually asleep by 8:15 or 8:30 at the latest.   

Awake: She still wakes up around 7:00 but occasionally she’ll sleep 12 hours and sleeps until 8:00

Naps: She’s still taking 3 naps a day. And now that’s she’s in day care she’s doing better napping in her pack n play and car seat.

Diapers: She’s completely out of size ones now. We donated several to different people. She’s in size twos now.

Clothes: She can still wear most of her 3 mo clothes, but PJs with her feet in them have to be 3-6 mo or 6 mo. Some of her 6 months clothes fit but only if they’re one piece or dresses.   

Favorites: She likes to play with her key set. Still loves bath. I usually end up as wet as her!  She also LOVES to squeal and hear herself talk!

Dislikes: She caught a cold this month and she HATES when I clean out her nose. She also hates the hiccups.   

Latest accomplishment: She can grab things now so sometimes when we pick her up off the play mat, the mat comes with her. She’s getting much closer to rolling over from back to front. She can sit in the bumbo and hold her own head up now.  

What I did this summer

Believe it or not I did do more than have a baby. Although, nothing as fun.

I took Bella and Emi to Maddi Hadley's 2nd birthday party. This was a slide that Bella thought looked like a butt. I guess you could say that...

We took Emi to Burnet a couple of times. 

I took Bella to the Justin Beiber concert again because we got free tickets.

I had my 3rd wedding anniversary. We kept it low key. Haha. 

We painted for my birthday. 

We hung out at the boat dock until it got too hot. 

I revamped the laundry room.

I took Bella to get her first make-up that she could wear in public and taught her how to shave her legs.

I made art for my room in Burnet.

I took down this awful wallpaper but I haven't finished with the texture or paint yet. 

I was going to stain my bathroom cabinets and we're in the process of redoing Bella's bedroom, but those things aren't done yet. 

So sad the summer is ending. Emotionally I haven't dealt with it yet. 

3 months!

3 month Stats

Weight: 11 lbs 12 oz

Length: not sure but she’s too long for 0-3 month onesies now.

Eating: She eats every 3.5-4 hours and usually 4-5 times per day.

Bedtime: We usually go upstairs around 7:45 and read a couple books, eat a last bottle and she’s usually down by 8:45.  

Awake: She wakes up at 7:00 AM on the dot every morning. It doesn’t matter what time she goes to bed, she’ll be up right at 7:00 AM.

Naps: She’s a great napper when she gets to take a nap in her crib. If we want her to take a nap in her pack n play she isn’t as easy and if we want her to nap in the car seat, FORGET it!

Diapers: She’s in size one, but I’m not sure for how long. She’s getting bigger and the size 2s say 12+ pounds, but the size ones say up to 14 pounds. Lots of people bought me size ones because we all thought she was going to be bigger so I have over 400 size ones. I’m sure I’ll be donating soon…

Clothes: She just grew out of 0-3. Now she’s completely in 3 months, but not quite anything larger.  

Favorites: Still loves her play mat. She’s starting to like laying on her boppy for tummy time. She still loves bath time and has started to splash the water.

Dislikes: She doesn’t like the soap when we bathe. I think it’s too cold. She doesn’t like when I use a baby wipe when I change her diaper. She also doesn’t like when I put clothes over her head. I have to be fast or it has to be a wide neck.  

Latest accomplishment: She went swimming twice this month. She LOVES the water. I can’t wait until next summer when we can be in the water more. She has also started to play with toys and grip things. And she found her hands this month and has started inspecting them.

I'm 2 months old!

2 Month Stats

Weight: 9 lbs 4 oz

Length: 22”

Size: 85% in height, 10% in weight

Eating: She is eating every 3.5 hours. We start the schedule from the time she wakes up or if we have to get going from the time I wake her.

Bedtime: Bedtime is much better now! She’s usually down between 8:30-9:30 and will sleep up until 4:30 or 5:00. After she eats around 5:00 she’ll sleep another 3 hours.

Naps: Naps are way better than last month too! Yay! She naps about 4-5 times a day. We wake her, she eats, plays and then naps for the remaining time of the 3.5 rotation.

Diapers: Size one. They’re pretty big so she’ll be there for awhile.

Clothes: She can still wear some newborn clothes, but she’s mostly in 0-3. Some 3 month outfits fit but one the onesies.

Favorites: She loves her play mat, sitting on her diaper changing station, sleeping in her crib, bath time.

Dislikes: Having her nose sucked out!

Latest Tricks: She smiles and laughs all the time. It’s the greatest thing! She also was in the pool this month. She loved it.
